As the ABM rebuild start date continues to move to the right, the Marina Maintenance crew under the direction of Hurley Owens, Supervisor, MOB have a huge undertaking in trying to keep the docks afloat. Their priority is to work on the ones that have a high safety risk factor. According to Hurley, they have to play a balancing act in deciding the priorities, between were the needs are while they are working on one and another one might pop up that needs immediate attention due to a safety risk and at the same time making sure that they are not rebuilding the Marina piece by piece for it then to be torn down by the rebuild. Below is a list of the recent repairs they have accomplished recently.

• Gwy 4 – removed decrepit ramp and installed a new ramp
• Gwy 4 main walk – repaired a broken splice between slips 46 and 52.
• Gwy 5 slip 128 – finger replacement
• Gwy 6 slip 123 – finger replacement
• Gwy 12 slip 217 – repaired knee brace, renailed fascia,
• Gwy 12 slip 218 – removed old decking and installed new, renailed loose boards.
• Gwy 12 slip 235 – Repair broken splice, renailed fascia, installed new rubrail and corner bumpers
• Gwy 12 slip 237 – Repair knee brace, renailed feet fascia, installed decking, and renailed loose boards
• Gwy 14 slip 314 – repaired knee brace, renailed fascia, installed new decking
• Gwy 15 slip 407 – finger replacement
• Gwy 17 slip 547 – repaired knee brace, renailed fascia, installed new decking
• Gwy 18 main walk – repaired broken splice which is located next to the ramp, and installed new decking
• Gwy 18 slip 596 – repaired broken splice, renailed fascia, installed one new cleat and tightened all other cleats
• Gwy 18 slip 648 – finger replacement
• Gwy 30 slip 250 – repaired broken splice, renailed fascia, installed two cleats, and installed new decking
• Gwy 33 slip 1493 – finger replacement
• Gwy 37 slip 1645 – repaired knee brace, renailed fascia, installed two new cleats and tightened all other cleats
• Gwy 38A B end tie – finger replacement
• Gwy 38A endtie – finger replaced
• Gwy 39 endtie – repaired broken splice
• Basin 5 main walk – repaired broken splice, installed new decking, removed old bull rail and installed 60 ft of new bull rail
• Basin 5 slip 1817 – repaired broken splice, renailed fascia
• Basin 5 slip 1819 – removed old cleat, installed new cleat and tightened all other cleats
