The Long Beach Marina Boat Owners Association (BOA) represents approximately 3000 boaters who rent slips in the Long Beach marinas.
The slip fees provide approximately $ 20,553,306 a year. We are asking that you deny the recent Long Beach Planning
Commission request to amend the SEADIP plan to allow high-density development on the corner of 2nd and PCH.Full Article

According to the Grunion Gazette, September 20, 2011, the 2nd & PCH development proposal will go before the Long Beach Planning Commission at its meeting scheduled for
Wednesday October 12. The planning meeting is scheduled to start at 5:00 PM in the 1st floor Long Beach City Council Chambers, 333 West Ocean Blvd. The Grunion stated,
“the proposed project includes about 230 residential units, a 100 room hotel, 220,000 square feet of commercial space, a 99 seat theatre, a science center and more if
